Hello from the new week of NAVAL YACHTS.

We will share with you the progress experienced this week in the XPM85, one of the 5 boats we produce at our shipyard located in the Antalya Free zone.

Our XPM series is specially produced for sailors who are adventurous and enjoy exploring new horizons.  In addition to being able to travel safely in the blues you have discovered, you will not be deprived of comfort.

The first boat of the XPM series to meet the water, the XPM78V, was delivered to its esteemed owners in February 2021 to explore new horizons.

The keel, which consists of 5 parts, was mounted on the boat by the spot welding method.

The assembly of the 2. The frame was carried out. Afterward, a total of 14 stiffeners were installed between the 1. And 3. Bulkheads, on the starboard and port side.

The assembly of the freeboard of the frames of the hull, whose centerline has been completed, has begun.

While assembling, it was started from the port side. After the port side frame assembly is completed, the keel is aligned with the help of the chain block on the starboard side and the starboard frames are assembled.

The assembly of a total of 24 frames, 12 on the port side and 12 on the starboard side was fixed using 1.2 mm thick welding wire and gaseous argon welding.

After the assembly of the frame was completed. The stiffeners were put in place and fixed by using a hammer and a bench clamp in accordance with the Project drawings.

The fuel tank between the 16. And 17. Frame was manufactured and mounted on the boat. It consists of 10 longitudinal baffles as starboard and port. There are holes on baffles. Thanks to these holes, there is an equal distribution of the fuel in the tank.

At the same time, holes with a Radius of 30 mm were drilled on the surface of the longitudinal elemnts in contact with the plate, namely at the bottom of the boat. The purpose of the weld access holes is the same as the holes. There are 40 holes in total.

Here is the business plan we plan to do next week and that we talked about at Obeya meetings;

  • Installation of the 6 mm thick plate sheets.
  • Starting the assembly of stiffeners from the 18. Frames to the transom.
  • Continuing the assembly of the frames.
  • Manufacturing and assembly of the engine room block.
  • Manufacturing and assembly of the Lazarretta block.
